Frequently asked questions
What size is an iPhone 13 mini wallpaper?
iPhone 13 mini wallpapers should be 1080x2340 pixels (1080 wide by 2340 tall). That is the native resolution of the screen, so the image is shown pixel for pixel with nothing scaled or cropped.
Can I use a different size on an iPhone 13 mini?
Yes, but the system will scale or crop it to fit. An image with a different shape loses its edges when it is filled to the screen, and a smaller image is enlarged and looks softer. Generating at 1080x2340 avoids both.
How do I make a 1080x2340 wallpaper?
Open the PattrnLab generator at 1080x2340, pick a pattern and palette, and download the PNG. It is rendered in your browser at exactly that size, so there is nothing to resize afterwards.
Which other devices use 1080x2340?
A 1080x2340 wallpaper also matches the Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S23.
