Frequently asked questions
What size is an iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) wallpaper?
iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) wallpapers should be 2064x2752 pixels (2064 wide by 2752 tall). That is the native resolution of the screen, so the image is shown pixel for pixel with nothing scaled or cropped.
Can I use a different size on an iPad Pro 13-inch (M4)?
Yes, but the system will scale or crop it to fit. An image with a different shape loses its edges when it is filled to the screen, and a smaller image is enlarged and looks softer. Generating at 2064x2752 avoids both.
How do I make a 2064x2752 wallpaper?
Open the PattrnLab generator at 2064x2752, pick a pattern and palette, and download the PNG. It is rendered in your browser at exactly that size, so there is nothing to resize afterwards.
