Frequently asked questions
What size is a Google Pixel 8 Pro wallpaper?
Google Pixel 8 Pro wallpapers should be 1344x2992 pixels (1344 wide by 2992 tall). That is the native resolution of the screen, so the image is shown pixel for pixel with nothing scaled or cropped.
Can I use a different size on a Google Pixel 8 Pro?
Yes, but the system will scale or crop it to fit. An image with a different shape loses its edges when it is filled to the screen, and a smaller image is enlarged and looks softer. Generating at 1344x2992 avoids both.
How do I make a 1344x2992 wallpaper?
Open the PattrnLab generator at 1344x2992, pick a pattern and palette, and download the PNG. It is rendered in your browser at exactly that size, so there is nothing to resize afterwards.
